Dear HarmonySite administrator,
The following changes have been made recently to the HarmonySite software...
- On the "Send Email" page: You can now specify whether the email addresses of the members you select (by ticking the box next to their names) appear in the TO or BCC part of the email. If you select "BCC", and the email has multiple recipients, then each recipient member will not see the email addresses of the other recipient members.
- It is now possible to add emojis to pages, posts, emails, etc...
- There's a new field in the member database: "Pronoun" (e.g. "He, him, his", or "She, her, hers", etc). If you want this added to your HarmonySite, please email support@harmonysite.com and request this.
- When members upload their own recordings for assessment purposes, they can include/upload their own self-assessment as an uploaded FILE, instead of (or as well as) typing their self-assessment into the box provided.
- When people subscribe to your "friends" mailing list, via the "Subscribe" box at the top of each public page (if that box is enabled), or in the right-margin, or on your "Subscribe" page, they will be sent an email asking them to confirm their subscription. This will cut down on automatic "bot" subscriptions to your mailing lists.
- As well as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc, you can now specify your group's LinkedIn page, and have an icon linking to that page appear in your site's header and footer. To add this to your site, click the little "cog" icon top-right, then click the cog icon next to the name of your primary ensemble, then click the "Promotion" tab and scroll to the bottom.
- Each person placing an order for merchandise, or booking a ticket to an event, or making a donation can now be easily added to the member database. Visit the page that contains all the details of that order/booking/donation, and you'll see a new "Add to member database" button next to their name (only if the order/booking/donation was NOT placed by a logged-in member). Note: You will still need to check whether they exist in the database already, so the first thing that will happen is you'll be taken to a page where all possible matches are listed.
